About the Founder
Selami Aydın, the founder of LREplus, is a leading scholar in English Language Teaching and a full professor of foreign language education at Istanbul Medeniyet University, where he has been actively teaching and conducting research. With a career spanning more than three decades, he has served as a teacher, lecturer, and academic, gaining extensive experience in language teaching, teacher education, and educational research.
His research focuses on foreign language learning and teaching, with particular emphasis on language anxiety, positive psychology, technology-enhanced learning, and the integration of artificial intelligence into language education. He has published extensively in leading international journals and contributed to numerous academic books and research projects. His publications can also be accessed via ResearchGate.
According to major academic databases, such as Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, and ScholarGPS, he is regarded as one of the world’s leading scholars in English Language Teaching and is recognized as a highly cited researcher in the field.
